What is the Florence Winter Music Festival (WMF)?

The WMF is a family-friendly music festival with concerts in a state-of-the-art, 400-seat theater. The WMF spotlights Bluegrass, Americana, and Folk music. The fun begins on Friday evening and continues through Saturday and features performances by musicians known worldwide.

Is WMF really my kind of music?

The WMF spotlights foot-stompin’ Americana, blazing-hot Bluegrass, as well as heartwarming traditional and new Folk. Our diverse lineup includes everything from artists just making their mark on the music scene to Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriters. There’s sure to be something for everyone. And, the ticketing format allows you to select the concerts you want to attend.

Where is the WMF held?

The WMF is held at the Florence Events Center located at 715 Quince Street in Florence, OR. The FEC is a soft-seat theater with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems. The facility offers plenty of space to accommodate jam sessions, workshops, merchandise sales, and all things Festival related. The FEC is within walking distance to charming Bay Street in Old Town and lodging is nearby.

Do you have COVID-19 protocols in place?

Mask Policy: Concert attendees are required to wear masks indoors regardless of vaccination status. Masks must cover the nose and mouth and must be worn for the duration of the performance and at any time while inside the performance venue or in a place that doesn’t allow for social distancing. Wear a mask other than when taking bites of food or sips of a beverage.

Vaccination Policy: All Festival attendees ages 5 and older are required to show 1) proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result* taken within 48 hours of arrival, AND 2) a photo ID. Once proof of vaccination or negative test result has been confirmed, attendees will receive a non-transferable “well wristband.” Wristbands confirming vaccination and/or a negative COVID-19 test are valid for succeeding concerts, workshops, and other festival-related activities. In order to be fully vaccinated, you must have received your last vaccination dose no later than two weeks (14 days) prior to attending a WMF concert or activity.

Children 2-5 years of age and older are required to follow WMFs mask policy and to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 48 hours prior to the event. Children under the age of 2 are not permitted at the indoor Winter Music Festival concert at this time.

*A negative COVID-19 test result is only valid if it was performed by a licensed healthcare provider or laboratory. At-home test results are not accepted. You may present a printout or a digital proof. The test sample must have been taken within 48 hours of the Festival and confirmation needs to state the date the test was performed, the type of test (NAAT or antigen), the result, your name (must match ID), and your date of birth.
