The WMF is a family-friendly music festival with concerts in a state-of-the-art, 400-seat theater. The WMF spotlights bluegrass, Americana, and folk music. The fun begins on Friday afternoon and continues through Sunday and features performances by local, regional and nationally-recognized musicians.
The WMF spotlights foot-stompin’ Americana, blazing-hot bluegrass, as well as heartwarming traditional and new folk. Our diverse lineup includes everything from artists just making their mark on the music scene to Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriters. There’s sure to be something for everyone. And, the ticketing format allows you to select the concerts you want to attend.
The WMF is a 3-day festival that begins on Friday, January 27 and continues through Sunday afternoon, January 29. Many folks begin gathering as early as Wednesday and some stay through Monday.

The WMF is held at the Florence Events Center located at 715 Quince Street in Florence, OR. The FEC is a soft-seat theater with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems. The facility offers plenty of space to accommodate jam sessions, workshops, merchandise sales, and all things Festival related. The FEC is within walking distance to charming Bay Street in Old Town and lodging is nearby.
We offer tips for a smooth ticketing experience here. Both Friday and Saturday night performances are reserved seating only; all other shows are general admission. At the time of purchase, you will designate whether to print your tickets at home or have them held at Will Call. You will receive a ticket confirmation email after your ticket purchase.

A 3-Day Pass is the best value -- it gets you into ALL performances so you won’t miss a minute of music. Patrons can also design their own 2-Day Pass to include either Friday and Saturday performances, or Saturday and Sunday performances, or Friday and Sunday performances. Yes. Tickets can be purchased at the door, subject to availability. The box office opens at 9:00AM on Friday and remains open until after the last show starts at 8:30pm; on Saturday it opens at 11:00am and will remain open until 9:00pm; on Sunday it opens at 10:00am and closes at 4:00pm. We strongly encourage advance ticket purchase to ensure you have a seat before traveling to the venue.
Friday and Saturday night shows are reserved seating only; seating for all other shows is general admission. Reserved seating selections are made at the time of your ticket purchase whether online, on the phone, or at the box office.

The WMF has once again partnered with the FEC to bring the 2023 Festival to LiveStream Pass holders via their smart TVs, laptops, tablets or phone. The WMF LiveStream Pass offers music lovers a chance to see and hear their favorite artists at the Winter Music Festival from home or just about anywhere.

All Workshops will be held at the venue (Florence Event Center) and are free to anyone who has a ticket to any performance during the Festival. Don’t have a ticket? Workshop tickets are available on a walk-up basis, space permitting, for $10 per Workshop (payable at the door; cash only, please).
Yes, yes, yes! Jam sessions are sure to reflect a diversity of styles with young and old alike participating. We have dedicated space for jamming at the Florence Events Center. The room will be clearly marked and available as soon as the doors open on Friday morning and close at 11pm on Friday and Saturday nights. All jam sessions are free to the public.
We are pleased to offer an instrument check this year. You may check your instrument at the Oregon Bluegrass Association booth in the Exhibitors Hall. Instrument check will be available on Friday and Saturday, beginning at 10am. All instruments must be picked up no later than 10pm. No overnight instrument check.
A hosted jam is scheduled in the Bromley Room at the Siuslaw Public Library on Thursday, January 26, from 1:00 to 3:00pm. The Lighthouse Inn is also hosting jam sessions that are free to the public.

Exhibitors: The Exhibitors area will be open Friday and Saturday, 9:00am to 6:00pm. Check the Exhibitors page for more information.
Food Vendors: The Florence Event Center’s fabulous in-house catering will be offering food, beverages, beer, and wine throughout the Festival. Festival patrons can also expect to see a food truck or two in the parking lot. Watch our Facebook page in the coming weeks for updates on other activities that will be happening at the FEC during the WMF.
Parking at the FEC is free. Adjacent (free) street parking is also available.
It’s too early to know where we’ll be with the pandemic in January, 2023, but WMF will abide by any Lane County, State of Oregon, and CDC recommendations in place at the time. We will also take additional safety measures as needed, which could include reduced capacities in the Florence Event Center.
We understand that this is an evolving situation, so we will continue to pay attention. We’ll be as generous and open as health recommendations allow, and we are confident that you, our patrons, will work with us to ensure an environment that is as safe as we can make it.
